Who is responsible for processing your data?

What data does the app process?
The Park Güell App does not require user registration and does not request personally identifiable information. It only processes technical data for the following purposes:

Notifications: if you provide your consent, to send you information about Park Güell. You may disable notifications at any time.

Geolocation: if you provide your consent, to display your location on the map. Your location is used solely on your device and is not stored.

App operation and improvement: non-identifiable usage data and technical device information used to compile statistics, identify technical issues and notify users about new versions of the app.
For what purpose will we process your data and what is the legal basis for doing so?
You can consult all data processing activities carried out by BSM, as well as the legal basis applicable to each of them, in our Record of Processing Activities.
How long will we retain your personal data?
BSM will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, unless you request its deletion or withdraw your consent.
Once the purpose for which the personal data was collected has been fulfilled, or if you request its deletion or withdraw your consent, the personal data will be duly restricted and retained only for the period necessary to comply with any applicable legal obligations, in accordance with Article 32 of Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on Personal Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights.
Who will your data be shared with?
BSM may disclose your data to public or private third parties where legally required or authorised to do so.
In addition, in order to provide its services, BSM may engage service providers that have access to your data and process it on behalf of and under the instructions of BSM. Under no circumstances may these providers use your data for their own purposes.
Are international transfers of personal data carried out?
Some of the app's technology service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, the processing is carried out in accordance with the safeguards required by applicable data protection legislation.
Are automated decisions made or profiles created using your personal data?
BSM does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling based on your personal data.
Should such processing be implemented in the future, it will be conducted in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
What are your rights as a data subject?
You may withdraw your consent at any time and exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability.
You may exercise these rights by sending a written request to Barcelona de Serveis Municipals, S.A., Carrer de Calàbria, 66, 08015 Barcelona, for the attention of the Data Protection Officer, or by email to protecciodades@bsmsa.cat.
Supervisory Authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (www.apdcat.cat) if you believe that BSM has not processed your personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation.
