This is the summer season schedule. Check the time slots for the entire year (*)
Park Güell is a monumental site without artificial lighting. Therefore, opening hours are adjusted throughout the year to ensure visits take place during daylight, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience.
Opening hours without ticket purchase are reserved for local residents, members of the cultural registry Gaudir Més, and tourist visits are not allowed during these times.

A new management model was adopted for Park Güell on 1 July 2020 with the goal of helping city residents to rediscover and make use of the Park Güell. Because of this, the number of people on the whole site is now regulated to avoid crowding, improve visitors’ experience, guarantee safety and protection measures and preserve the Park Güell.
Local people are free to come to the Park Güell, at no cost, at any time during its opening hours (7 am to 10 pm). You do not need to book in advance to use this type of access; you can go straight to any of Park Güell's access points and identify yourselves in one of the following ways:
-
Admission card for local residents
Local people officially residing in neighbourhoods adjacent to Park Güell (La Salut, Vallcarca-Penitents, El Coll, Can Baró, El Baix Guinardó and El Carmel) are guaranteed free access via a non-transferable admission card. The issue of the card can be requested by phone on 010 or on the municipal website.
-
Gaudir Més register
The virtual Gaudir Més register is an initiative from Barcelona City Council through which members receive information about the city and benefit from discounts and other perks, including free daily tickets for Park Güell. For more information on how to register, go to the Gaudir Més website.
We also remind you that within the opening hours of the Park, there are two time bands reserved for the aforementioned groups, during which tourist visits are NOT allowed:
- “Bon dia Barcelona” from 7 am to 9.00 am.
- “Bon vespre Barcelona” from 8 pm to 10 pm.
Citizens who do not fall into any of the above categories should acquire tickets to visit the park during the same period as tourist visits from 9.00 am to 7.30 pm.
