Which local residents can have a free-access card?

The new regulation plan takes into account the needs of local residents in the neighbourhoods adjacent to Park Güell (El Coll, Vallcarca-Penitents, La Salut, El Carmel, Can Baró and Baix Guinardó) and guarantees them unrestricted access free of charge all the year round to enjoy the area. To enter the park, they will need to have a personal and non-transferable card, which may be requested by the entrance staff.

If you are registered as a resident in one of the specified neighbourhoods, you can apply for a card by calling 010 or using the Barcelona City Council’s procedures website.
