The Three Crosses

A great viewpoint over the city of Barcelona

Located at the highest part of Park Güell—at 182.30 metres above sea level—is the Hill of the Three Crosses (once known also as Ore Hill or the Hill of Mines and Caves), where they planned to build the chapel for the housing estate designed by Gaudí. When the overall project failed, this plan was abandoned and they decided to erect three stone crosses there, which simulated the Calvary.
